ON ROADS
- Infrastructure and maintenance along with traffic calming (speeding)
- Many people are concerned with the state of our roads in Huntsville with the lack of repairs and the increase in congestion with the rapid growth.
- There is also a major concern with the amount of excessive speeding that is taking place even in residential areas.
SUPPORT FOR ESSENTIAL CITY SERVICES
- We want our trash picked up, streetlights working, ditches mowed. I will work to make sure these things are done properly and timely.
GROWTH: INTELLIGENT & CONTROLLED
- With the rapid growth in Huntsville, we need to make sure the proper decisions are made with new development that they do not become problems in the future that taxpayers will have to fund to fix.
ON LAW ENFORCEMENT
- I support professional, well trained Law Enforcement that will keep our streets, neighborhoods, and schools safe so that we can truly enjoy this wonderful city and its opportunities.
Background
- Huntsville native. Graduated from Butler High School.
- Graduate of The University of Alabama (BA) and Athens State University (BS).
- 40-year employee of Huntsville Utilities. 21 years as the Utilities Communications Director.
- Leadership Huntsville-Madison County, Class 14.
- Certification in Urban Forestry
- Represented HU to both the City Council and the Madison County Commission.
- Served in leadership roles within national Utility Trade Associations
Thoughts for a Better Huntsville
As a native of Huntsville, I loved growing up here and living here. I want to see Huntsville to continue to:
- Grow in a way that individuals will want to make Huntsville their lifetime home.
- Keep the city safe so that we can continue to be a place people want to live and raise their families.
- Make a difference in the future of Huntsville.
